Looking for Tranquil Caravan Sites in Bridlington? Start Here

The East Riding of Yorkshire resort of Bridlington doesn’t tend to be mentioned as frequently as certain other seaside towns in the UK; however, in many ways, it arguably should be.

To be fair, there is evidence that the great British public, if not always the media, have recognised Bridlington as the short-break gem that it is.

For example, several years ago, the town ranked second in a list of coastal holiday destinations that Britons had recently been visiting, ahead of the likes of Brighton, Devon, Cornwall, Whitby, and Scarborough.

For Those Who Desire a Quiet Caravan Location, Bridlington Can Be Perfect

Indeed, the comparatively “unsung” status of Bridlington may go some way to explaining why many Britons love the resort as a place to spend their holidays, and even to purchase a holiday home.

Great numbers of people around the UK are drawn to relatively small static caravan sites in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, because while this part of the coast has tourist-friendly attractions, it isn’t overwhelming, either.

So, if you are among those people who yearn for a holiday home destination that represents a peaceful and picturesque haven, what are some of the most suitable caravan parks in the locality?

Below, we have picked out a few of our favourites.

  • Charity Farm Caravan Park

Strictly speaking, this holiday park is situated in the scenic village of Sewerby, which is just north of Bridlington, albeit still part of Bridlington parish.

Tranquillity is a strong suit of this park, which was established nearly a century ago, in 1927, and continues to evoke nostalgia today. The site offers both new and pre-owned holiday homes for sale, although it is worth noting that it is only open from 1st March until 30th November.

  • White House Leisure Park

Unlike the aforementioned Charity Farm, White House Leisure Park – situated on Bridlington’s South side – is open 52 weeks a year. This allows those who own a holiday home here to embark on spontaneous breaks here almost whenever they fancy it, albeit while respecting that the site’s static caravans are exclusively meant for short-term holiday use.

Again, peace and quiet can certainly be expected at this park, helped by the brand new super-sized pitches. However, it is also conveniently located for travel into central Bridlington, whenever the holiday home owner is in the mood for seaside attractions or a spot of shopping.

  • The Old Mill Caravan Park

Although it is sometimes described as being “in Bridlington”, this family-run caravan park is actually just up the hill from the village of Bempton.

As you might expect, the views are stunning from that vantage point, with the likes of Flamborough and the Bridlington Links Golf Course able to be seen on a clear day. However, this site is also appealing on account of its spotlessly clean facilities, immaculately kept grounds, and the peaceful and quiet walks that can be enjoyed nearby.

  • North Bay Leisure Park

Convenience is a strong reason to consider acquiring a holiday home at North Bay Leisure Park. It presents beautiful and spacious plots a mere 300 metres away from the Bay of Bridlington, the only large body of sheltered water on the Yorkshire Coast.

The park’s breathtaking location borders Bridlington’s North Promenade, which dates to Edwardian times and has more recently been beautifully restored. So, owners of static caravans here have plentiful opportunity to enjoy relaxing strolls along the beach, taking in spectacular views of the cliffs, while knowing even greater peace awaits them back in their holiday home.

For Quietness, Relaxation, And More, Bridlington Ticks All the Boxes!

There you have it; whether you are merely planning a short break in a hired caravan to begin with, or you would like to explore the static caravans for sale in East Yorkshire that the best local sites can offer, you will have a lot of excellent reasons to consider Bridlington.

With its combination of a peaceful coastal setting, accessible caravan parks, and opportunities for relaxation and exploration, this resort strikes a balance for a significant number of people that many of the more “touristic” parts of the Yorkshire Coast don’t.

So, why not begin your search for your ideal holiday home in this underrated region today?
